Whether it’s the introduction and adoption of emerging technologies, new market opportunities that demand restructuring, or the evolving nature of customer behavior, the external world demands constant internal change.
As HR leaders, our ability to balance the on-demand responsiveness with long-term vision can feel more like a Cirque du Soleil act than an established corporation. Yet, it is what we are uniquely suited to do. Our ability to influence organizational strategy and lead the charge in getting employees on board through shifting mindsets and behaviors is our super power.
With the future demanding HR to embody so many different roles, we want to pull apart the different elements of strategy and explore all the ways we either influence its development, or enable its success. While we might be ambitious, our goal is not to solve these challenges, but to create a starting point—a space for exploring and, interrogating our own beliefs amongst peers interested in doing the same.
