Design Thinking

Design Thinking, also known as Human-centered Design, has been around since the ‘80s, and is embraced by leading organizations around the world today. (Think Google, IBM, Apple, and a whole lot more).

This problem-solving methodology was created to help teams tackle complex business issues in a more empathetic, innovative and collaborative way. Using engaging research tools, creative brainstorming skills, and rapid prototyping techniques, design thinking leads to more interesting and effective ideas—while breaking down silos and boosting collaboration across the board. It’s also pretty fun!

Programs Offered:

Introduction to Design Thinking:

Change the way your team approaches their day-to-day work. Introduce them to a variety of tools and mindsets that will help them be more creative, empathetic and collaborative as they tackle any and every business challenge moving forward.

Train the Facilitator:

Great facilitation is a skill in itself. Arm your internal catalysts with the know-how to run design thinking trainings for your organization, or to facilitate internal design thinking sessions on their own.

Creative Leadership:

Buy-in from the top goes a long way. Teach your leadership team how to create the best conditions for collaboration, align innovation projects to business goals, and empower their teams with design thinking tools.

Facilitation Training

Great group experiences don’t magically happen—they’re thoughtfully designed and facilitated.  Behind the scenes, the best facilitators are constantly pulling from their tactical toolkits and finely-tuned softer skills to drive progress and meaningful change within their organization.

In Facilitation Training courses, company leaders and future facilitators will learn how to lead effective team meetings and workshops, inspire creative thinking, instill confidence in every participant, and steer the group toward tangible outcomes. Using real-life scenarios, trainees will practice in a safe space, receive feedback from TDG trainers and peers, and leave knowing how to drive change from the inside.

Change Management

If you’ve ever tried to rally a team of people around a new idea, roll out a new product or introduce a new process, you’ve probably experienced a fair share of push back. Because change management can be hard. But just like designing products and services, there’s a human-centered approach you can take to manage change within your team—driving adoption, positive team dynamics, and even greater trust.

We’ll teach you how to manage change from this people-first perspective. Topics include community building, empathic design and storytelling—as well as tools to help you get buy-in, scale ideas, and encourage people to act as builders of change, not blockers.
