This 3-hour evening class is a quick, high-level overview of the 5 phases of Design Thinking (as interpreted by The Design Gym). It’s meant to provide you with a basic understanding of Design Thinking and the enthusiasm to learn more about the methods and tools that can help you become more creative and innovative.
Design Thinking is a creative problem solving method and mindset. It’s human-centered, iterative, and collaborative. This day-long workshop teaches The Design Gym’s take on the 5 phases of design thinking. It covers the methodology, best practices and tools you need for successfully moving through each phase.
A great facilitator makes it easy for groups of people to collaborate, make decisions, and move projects forward. This day-long workshop teaches you the basic skills needed for successful facilitation: how to work collaboratively, how to deal with difficult personalities, what activities are good for keeping meetings engaging, and leading teams to a common goal.
