How to Kill Ideas, not Each Other: making Collaboration Work

February 11, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

When we teach ideation, we often focus on Quantity over Quality. It’s a good place to start…but eventually you have to kill some ideas and move forward with one idea. How can we do that without hurting feelings or drifting from the project mission?

In this class, we’ll cover the principles of ideation – not just how to generate great ideas…but how to focus and align on a set of options.

Closing the ideation phase of design sets you and your team up for a strong prototyping phase, allowing you to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your concepts.

We’ll cover:

Opening Ideation
Generating options and possibilities
Closing Ideation
Sorting and combining ideas
Preparing for Prototyping
Having a spectrum of ideas

This is an Open Level Class
