Design Thinking is a creative problem solving method and mindset. It’s human-centered, iterative, and collaborative. By using empathetic research techniques, creative brainstorming skills, and rapid prototyping techniques, Design Thinking leads to more interesting and effective ideas. It’s also pretty fun!
In this Bootcamp, you will learn:
– a common language for using the five-phase Design Thinking process
– tools that you can apply immediately in your work
– the team dynamics needed for group collaboration
The Design Gym believes in interactive practice-based learning over theory. Getting your hands dirty is the fastest way to develop creative muscles! Therefore, we’ve created a learning environment where you can practice your new skills on a project challenge while being coached by practitioners from the fields of design and innovation.
The price of your ticket includes a catered lunch. Sharing a meal together is our favorite way to connect, swap stories, and allow time for you to get to know your fellow participants.
Refund + Transfer Policy: If you need to request a refund or transfer to a different workshop date, you must do so a full week in advance of the session you’ve registered for. If something comes up less than a week from the workshop date, we suggest asking a friend or colleague of they can attend instead. Just let us know the name of the person who will be attending on your behalf.
